- Décret n° 2008-721 du 30 juin 2008 portant application de la loi n° 2008-12

Commission de Protection des Données Personnelles (CDP)Data we collect
The data collected depends on the feature you use. Fields marked as required are necessary to process the request; optional fields help us qualify the mission more precisely.
Quote & availability requests
Name, telephone number, optional email and company, requested service, rental formula, selected vehicle, pickup and destination, dates and times, security level and any additional mission details you choose to provide.
Contact form
Name, telephone number, email address, subject of the request and message content.
Technical information
Technical data necessary to operate and secure the website may be generated by the web server, hosting environment and session mechanisms, such as connection logs, browser/session identifiers or security events.
Do not include unnecessary sensitive information in free-text fields. If a mission requires sensitive operational information, use the contact channel indicated by the Vigilus Mobility team.
Why we use this data
-
Qualify and answer requests Review the mission, check availability and prepare the appropriate quotation.
-
Communicate with you Respond by telephone, email or WhatsApp when you choose that channel.
-
Prepare mobility operations Organise the vehicle, route, timetable, chauffeur and operating setup once the mission is validated.
-
Secure the website and prevent abuse Protect forms, sessions and infrastructure and investigate technical incidents where necessary.
Depending on the processing operation, the basis may be your request or consent, steps taken before entering into a contract, performance of a contract, compliance with legal obligations or a legitimate operational/security interest, where such basis is applicable.
Recipients and service providers
Access to personal data is limited to people and service providers who need it to process the request, operate the website or perform the validated service.
Vigilus Mobility does not sell personal data to advertisers.
Hosting and international transfers
The website is hosted by o2switch in France. Data submitted through website forms may therefore be processed or stored outside Senegal as part of the website hosting and delivery chain.
Use of Google Maps/Places or WhatsApp may also involve processing by providers operating internationally. Vigilus Mobility seeks to limit such transfers to what is necessary for the requested functionality and to apply the safeguards required by applicable rules.
Data retention
Personal data is kept only for as long as necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, then deleted, anonymised or archived where a legal or evidential obligation requires it.
Your rights
Under Senegalese data protection rules, you may in particular request information about processing, access to your data, rectification or updating of inaccurate data, object on legitimate grounds to certain processing and request deletion when retention is no longer justified.
For security reasons, proof of identity may be requested when necessary to verify that the request comes from the person concerned. If you believe your rights have not been respected, you may contact or lodge a complaint with the CDP.
Security and confidentiality
Vigilus Mobility applies technical and organisational measures intended to limit unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure or loss of personal data, including access restrictions, form/session protection and secure hosting practices.
No internet service can guarantee absolute security. If a security incident affecting personal data is identified, it is handled in accordance with the obligations applicable to the circumstances.
Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated when the website, service providers or legal requirements change. The current version and its update date are always published on this page.
